- Format: Live phone, video or chat sessions usually have a set time or run per minute. Emailed or recorded readings aren't timed the same way, so the length is more about how much the reader writes or says.

- Your questions: Three focused questions fit more easily than ten loosely connected ones.
- Billing: Some services charge a flat fee for a fixed session, others charge by the minute. With per-minute billing, a rambling conversation can cost more than you planned. Confirm current rates and rules on the official site, because they change.
Is a longer reading better?
Not necessarily. We're not aware of good evidence that a longer reading is more accurate, and evidence for psychic prediction in general is thin. A longer session just gives more room for conversation and for you to reflect. If you're curious but cautious, a shorter session with a clear question is a sensible way to start.
